It’s not too late for Josh and I to change our minds about our cutesy photobooth-style save-the-date magnets and do something like this instead. I’m green with envy!

Folks,
Due to some recent events, I’ve had to privatize my Flickr photos. You can still see the umpteenth photo of my latest ice cream cone or roasted duck dish, but pictures of me and anyone else I know are now only available to my contacts.
I’m sorry, but I’m basically forcing you to sign up for Flickr accounts, which you should do anyway because Flickr is the shizzle and it tastes like chicken.
Peace,
Connie
Wanted: gorgeous, sage green dress January 27, 2008
How is it possible that I’ve put off finding bridesmaid dresses until now? Probably laziness, but I will continue to blame this on my lack of computer for 4 months. (coward)
I’m loving the open, off-the-shoulder neckline thing going on here and the shantung silk. Very 50’s ish:
I’m leaning towards cocktail length dresses, instead of floor length, mostly because I’ve seen so many short and pretty dresses. Plus, it’ll be August, hot, and why should I torture the gals with long dresses?

Hello internets January 26, 2008
Reasons for the long silence:
- Had I known that my laptop was on its last gasp, I would have signed a DNR for the poor thing and at least prevented its Terry Schiavo-like death at the hands of Geek Squad. I basically had no computer for 4 months. Oh well, I’m now typing on a schmancy new MacBook Pro!
- Did I mention I got promoted in August? Yeah, totally exciting, until the moment that I realized working for three editors means a shit load of shit to do.
- A crap load of TV and videogames (Guitar Hero 3; The Wire; Veronica Mars; House; Friday Night Lights; Battlestar Galactica; Firefly; Doctor Who; Katamari Damacy….). Tsk tsk, I know.
Ok, so the clock is ticking, but Josh and I are going to whip this wedding into shape. Folks interested in the latest and greatest of wedding developments, please stay tuned here.
